I haven't written for a few days. My chick Angel died. It was a horrible hot day. I cried all day. At night I still think about putting her in her coop, then I remember she is gone... I can't believe it. I miss her so much. Poor chick.
Dear Jessie, We are so sorry that your chick died! Did you ever hear the story about Heidi's chick that she had when she was a little girl? Nathan was a toddler, and he squeezed the chick so hard that it died. Heidi felt so bad so she brought the chick to grandpa and asked him to give it a blessing. He blessed it, and immediately the chick revived. Maybe your chick just needed a blessing...... We enjoyed our visit with the family. We love and miss you. Grandma and Grandpa Seable
Jessie, I had two pet chicks that died when I was a girl. I understand how sad it is. I read in my journal about it just the other day when I taught a lesson in young women's on journal writing. We had little funeral sevices for them. Sorry to hear about losing your little friend. Write about it in your journal so you never forget. Love, Aunt Heidi
